Finite Element Analysis of Misalignment and Contact State on the Interface of Bearing Bore Under Preload Condition

Abstract: The split bearing bores of diesel engine are generally bored after tightening bolts to install crankcase and cylinder block. Machining accuracy significantly affects the contact state during sliding bearing operation, thereby reducing the service life of bearing.
