Finite Element Analysis of Foundation Settlement of 220kV Transmission Tower with Independent Foundation

Abstract: The uneven subsidence of the independent foundation of the transmission tower often happens in the coal mining area, which causes serious threat to the safe operation of transmission lines. In this paper, the finite element analysis is carried out for a certain 220kV tower-ling coupling system, and the effects of the different kinds of earth deformations on the structure responses are studied. The results show that the contribution of the vertical displacement of the foundation to the variations of the interna… Show more

“…The established finite element computational model is depicted in Figure 6. We constrain all degrees of freedom at the lower end of the base bolt, while the upper end of the base bolt is connected to the tower base plate using nodal coupling for equivalence [30,31]. At this point, a combined load is applied at the center of the tower base plate as follows:…”

“…Pile driving method, mainly with rotary pile, cement mixing pile as representative, in addition, it also includes squeeze pile, vibratory punching, vibratory sinker gravel pile, etc. Take rotary spray pile and cement mixing pile as an example, this method uses slurry pump to mix air and cement slurry under pressure, and then jets to form large diameter cement pile in deep foundation according to the design standard,The overall process is: site leveling → alignment → pile driving in place, leveling → penetration of the jet pipe → mixing slurry (or material preparation) → injection slurry (or filler) → extraction and flushing → move the machine to the next pile position → quality inspection [10] .…”
