Finite Element Analysis of Flexural Behavior of Shape Memory Alloy Hybrid Composites Laminates

Abstract: In this paper, experiments and finite element analysis methods were adopted to study the flexural performance of shape memory alloy hybrid composites (SMAHC). The effect of embedding content and position of shape memory alloy (SMA) wire on the flexural properties of composite laminates was analyzed, and the optimal content and position of SMA wire were obtained.
