Fingertip amputation injury managed conservatively with moist wound dressings

Abstract: A 36-year-old woman suffered an Allen type III fingertip amputation of the right third finger. The wound was treated conservatively using moist wound dressings and healed after 12 weeks with excellent esthetic and functional results. Conservative management using moist wound dressings can be successful treatment for fingertip amputation injury.
