Fine Grain Concrete on Mixing Water Activated in Cavitation Permanent Magnet-Type Apparatus

Abstract: The authors obtained fine grain concrete based on the mortars of additives-electrolytes undergone mechanic magnetic activation and characterized by improved compression and bending strength and enhanced freeze-thaw resistance. There was investigated the impact of mechanic magnetic activation (MMA) on mixing water when adding calcium chloride and sodium thiosulphate as well as on porosity of cement stone and specific features of phase formation in cement stone. It was stated by the authors that MMA facilitates … Show more

“…The larger amount of calcite and aragonite (3.86; 3.035; 2.28; 2.09; 1.927; 1.875; 1.44) formed in the stone hydrated by the MMA grouting fluid with the additives is driven by the impact of magnetic field on the grouting fluid [11]. 110 New Polymer Composite Materials II Thus, application of MMA allows changing dispersions degree of a solid component, influencing the level of electro kinetic characteristics of nanopolymer fibers and, in this wise, enables to regulate interphase interaction in cement system and to ensure enhancement of admixture's technological effects.…”

“…Presently, few methods of fluid phase activation are well known, such as electrochemical and magnetic activation [8], hydrodynamic and magnetic [9][10][11][12], and ultrasonic treatment [13,14]. All these methods cause external perturbation, when microstructure of liquid medium deviates from the state of thermodynamic equilibrium in the field that leads to increase in reaction capacity of the activated substance [15].…”
