Abstract:It has been long-understood that final state rescattering effects provide $$ \mathcal{O} $$

(1) corrections to hadronic meson decays rates, such as η → πππ and η′ → ηππ. Hence, one would expect that such effects would be just as important in axio-hadronic η and η′ decays, such as η(′) → ππa, where a is an axion or axion-like particle (ALP). And indeed they are, as we show in this paper by using the treatment of dispersion relations to include the effects of strong final stat… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
