“…However, no results on FE evolution or comparison with experimental data have been provided. Experimental studies of Liu et al (2002), Ohara et al (2007) and Mizutani et al (2007) have measured FE on DPF systems, but their methods do not have the resolution to capture the complete FE evolution accurately. Additionally in these studies, systematic understanding of impact of filter microstructure/geometry properties and test conditions on clean FE and its evolution is missing.…”

“…The filtration efficiency of DPF rely on the following three main mechanisms of particle deposition: (1) Diffusional deposition; (2) Inertial deposition; and (3) Flow-line interception. 17,18 Diffusional deposition depends on Brownian movement, which is related to exhaust gas temperature and particle size. The higher filtration efficiency of nucleation mode particles is related to the higher Brownian movement speed of these particles; in fact, the smaller particles are caught easily because of their rapid diffusion velocity towards the surface of the filter.…”

Οι (Ohara, E., et al, 2007), (Mizutani, T., et al, 2007), (Aravelli, K., et al, 2007), (Mizuno, Y., et al, 2008), (Saito, C., et al, 2011), (Shimoda, T., et al, 2012), (Vogt, C.-D., et al, 2014), (George, S., et al, 2016) • Μελέτη της οξείδωσης της αιθάλης:…”
