Abstract:Os caboclos das performances culturais de todo o Brasil podem ser considerados como expressão de imaginário indianista do séc. XIX. Neste texto semificcional poetnográfico, problematiza-se essa tese a partir da reflexão e descrição de performances de caboclos, em busca de reconhecer relações interétnicas e reverenciar as afinidades cosmológicas entre afro-brasileiros e indígenas. O Caboclo é seguido por poéticas afro-ameríndias expressas no corpo e em dança, em busca da Jurema.
