Background: Universities affect their communities and ecosystems both directly and indirectly. The strategic plans of all Turkish universities with Higher Education Council accreditation were thoroughly examined within this context. An ecosystem where digital technologies are used more efficiently and extensively is necessary for the ideal of a more sustainable environment and a world with happy people. Purpose: This study's main aim was to discover how universities in Türkiye predict the digital age via the emphasis they place on digital themes in their future plans. Study design/methodology/approach: The content analysis technique utilised within the scope of document analysis was chosen as the best method to satisfy this study's objectives. Findings/conclusions: The study found five main themes regarding the future of higher education based on codes obtained from university strategic plans. Digital transformation, digital campus, digital education, digital infrastructure, and future-focused units were these themes. We analysed the content of these five areas in connection with four types of universities around the country to see if there was a significant difference in attitude towards the digital age. Only future-focused units significantly distinguished these four types of universities, it was found. Limitations/future research: The research primarily examined the digital age themes that are evident in the strategic plans of universities. Academic studies for future research may involve an examination of the content of strategic plans in relation with different themes and categorizations. The collected results might be subjected to comparisons in order to assess the effectiveness of strategic plans.

Today's society is increasingly susceptible to global economic crisis. The energy is still extremely dependent on oil, whose extraction scenarios usually have great complexity. The technology in the oil industry has undergone a vertiginous development in recent times. Advances in information, data and telecommunications have been reflected in the connectivity of systems and people with tremendous impacts on improvements of operational and business decisions. In this context, came to light an important movement of Integrated Operations (IO), which has systematized the implementation of this concept in the oil and gas operators and service providers. Each company has created its program, with peculiarities and challenges. This paper, including an intensive literature search, analyzed the objectives, concepts and architectures of Integrated Operations deployments in five major operators. Through a reference framework, the differences and similarities of these models were discussed. There was also an analysis in recent bibliography in order to better understand the value for Integrated Operations.

BP's digital oilfield initiative, the Field of the Future Technology Flagship, has been developing and deploying distinctive operational capabilities since it's inception in 2005. This paper describes the growing track record of value delivery, achieved through pace and scale deployment. These capabilities, which continue to be developed, support a relentless drive for continuous improvement in our asset operations, aiming at delivery of significant production (100mboed BPnet) and reserve (1bnbbl) targets by 2017. We report significant progress toward meeting these targets and highlight new key lessons from our growing body of experience.The Field of the Future concept is now a routine part of how BP builds projects and operates fields across much of our portfolio. It impacts a significant and growing proportion of net production and routinely supports >80% of our top 100 wells. A range of monitoring, analytical, optimization and collaborative solutions are applied according to asset needs and value opportunities.The in-house solutions have delivered over a third of the production target so far -ahead of plan. When integrated with general bought-in solutions, base infrastructure and collaboration benefits, we are routinely adding more than 50mboed gross production per annum.The Paper presents examples of the variety of capability, technology and solution applications that have underpinned this continuing successful value delivery.Key to this success has been:• Establishing an effective, balanced approach to R&D, deployment and value realization;• Developing clear linkage to business needs and functional priorities as a basis for effectively engaging the customer.Areas of continuing challenge include:• Sustaining uptake and usage when faced with issues and barriers arising from technical, business and organizational diversity in the asset portfolio; • Competing or aligning with other business priorities and initiatives, especially in a cost challenged environment.Looking forward, the common challenge all operators face is firmly on making it an industry-wide reality, and to fully embed "intelligent energy" in all that we build and operate.
