Abstract:Michael Field is the pseudonym of Katharine Bradley (1846-1914) and Edith Cooper (1862-1913). Writing under the name Michael Field from 1884 to 1914, they published 27 verse tragedies, 1 masque, 8 volumes of lyric poetry, and 28 volumes of co-written bound diaries. Numerous unpublished works survive in Oxford University's Bodleian Library manuscripts collection.
