Field-induced molecular re-orientation dynamics of a surface stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal

Abstract: In this study, combination of linear optical properties measurement with polarized time resolved infrared spectroscopy, the information of molecular switching dynamicsfrom the macroscopic optical axis orientation and the detail switching behaviors in molecular scale is revealed.
