Abstract:Parastacus brasiliensis é endêmica do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, com distribuição restrita à região hidrográfica do Guaíba. Sua extensão de ocorrência (EOO) foi estimada em 14.691 km². Os locais de ocorrência da espécie são alvos de intensa urbanização caracterizada por descargas domésticas, comerciais, industriais e/ou de origem agropecuária.
