Abstract:Background
Frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) is a cicatricial alopecia affecting the frontotemporal hairline. This scarring, immune-mediated follicular destruction most commonly affects postmenopausal Caucasian women, however the exact etiology of FFA is still unknown.
