Feto-Maternal Outcome in Hellp Syndrome

Abstract: Background: HELLP Syndrome is a serious obstetric complication in pregnancy characterised by haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelet count. Incidence is 0.5-0.9% of all pregnancies and in 10-20% of cases with severe preeclampsia (PE) and eclampsia.
