Abstract: Myelomeningocele (MMC), one of the most common congenital malformations, can result in severe lifelong disabilities, including paraplegia, hydrocephalus, Chiari II malformation (CM-II), incontinence, sexual dysfunction, skeletal deformations and mental impairment.
