The MSFSE uses only 1 wire The SCFSE was introduced in 1973 and relies on 'a round bodied needle which is totally retractable into a base by a spring attachment' (5). The SCFSE is available in both single use and multiple use styles but only the single use unit was studied in this trial.…”
