“…Among fetuses with an EFW <10th percentile, an increased UASDR had a positive predictive value that ranged between 60 and 80% and was moderately useful test to detect fetuses at risk, which is consistent with prior reviews. [29][30][31] We observed that the risk for the adverse outcomes increases 2-3-fold with birthweights below the 10th or the 5th percentile, which has been previously reported. 11 The relatively high incidence of the primary outcomes we observed is an effect of prematurity, which is the most important factor, associated with the primary outcomes.…”

“…The test performance of the UASDR was low despite the large proportion of adverse outcomes identified. For fetuses initially managed as having FGR but with subsequent EFW >10th percentile, detection rates and positive predictive values were poor but specificity and negative predictive values were high, most likely secondary to a higher number of false positive tests within this population which is consistent with previous reports 29 and does not support use of iUASDR. Among fetuses with an EFW <10th percentile, an increased UASDR had a positive predictive value that ranged between 60 and 80% and was moderately useful test to detect fetuses at risk, which is consistent with prior reviews.…”
