Feste Korrosionsprodukte – II. Aluminium und Eisen

Abstract: Eidgenossische Anstalt fur Wasserversorgung, Abwasserreinigung und Gewasserschutz (EAWAG), CH-8600 Dubendorf Es wird eine Ubersicht iiber die festen Korrosionsprodukte von Aluminium und Eisen gegeben. This review is concerned with the solid corrosion… Show more

“…: +48 The essential difference between the hydrogen entry from acidic and alkaline solutions involves the type of species being discharged (H 3 O + in acidic solutions and H 2 O in alkaline solutions), and surface conditions. In acids the iron surface is free of oxides, whereas in alkaline solutions it is covered with films which can be composed of Fe 3 O 4 [11][12][13], ␥-Fe 2 O 3 [13][14][15], ␥-FeOOH [14], ␦-FeOOH, ␣-FeOOH [12,13] and other oxyhydroxides [16].…”
