Ferrihydrite coating reduces microplastic induced soil water repellency

Abstract: Addition of microplastics (MP) to soil has the potential to increase soil water repellency. Absorption of soil abundant substances on MP surfaces has the potential to overcome MP inherent hydrophobicity.
