Fermi surfaces and electron–impurity interactions in simple metals

Abstract: AbstractsA review is given of the current status of our work on electron transport properties and Fermi surfaces in simple metals. A simple classical model is proposed to extend existing theory to account for the effects of electron-impurity interactions on the behavior of magnetoacoustic absorption and the size and shape of the Fermi surface in the alkali metal potassium.
