Femtosecond laser-induced Bragg gratings in silica-based fibers for harsh environment sensing

Abstract: The technique of femtosecond laser-induced inscription of fiber Bragg gratings creates a structure in the optical fiber that can be used effectively as a sensor especially when deployed in harsh environments.
