To circumvent the danger of electrocoagulation, the use of a spring-loaded clip for tubal interruption has been described (Lieberman et al, 1974;Kumarasamy et nl, 1974); in their series of 91 patients, Lieberman et a1 (1 974) encountered ten complications specifically related to the use of the clip and four of these patients required a laparotomy.…”
