Female Genital Cutting: Confronting Cultural Challenges and Health Complications Across the Lifespan

Abstract: Female genital cutting affects over 140 million women worldwide. Prevalent in certain countries of Africa and the Middle East, the practice continues among immigrants to industrialized countries.
