Female chronic posterior urethritis is underestimated in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms

Abstract: Background: As one of the causes of urethral symptoms, female chronic posterior urethritis is a common and distressing disease; however, it is often neglected and misdiagnosed as overactive bladder (OAB) or interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS).
