Felix Jiri Weinberg. 2 April 1928—5 December 2012

Abstract: Felix Weinberg's teenage years coincided with World War II. He spent much of the war in Nazi concentration camps, starting with Terezin in December 1942, followed by Auschwitz in December 1943, and finally Buchenwald, from which he was liberated on 11 April 1945. He joined Imperial College, London as a research assistant in 1951 and completed his PhD by 1954.
