The objective of this research, still in progress, is to present a solution through a gamified application, ECOBOT, which aims, in a playful way, to promote a sustainable conscience in society. Commonly, the population is not aware of the real damage that e-waste can cause to the environment and health. E-waste is one of the fastest growing problems in contemporary society, where electronic devices are becoming obsolete faster and faster. To achieve this goal, we adopted a literature review as a methodology, as well as a qualitative applied study with 11 elementary school students. As an expected result, it was observed that the application is able to contribute to raising sustainable awareness in society. The research with students aimed to analyze the effectiveness of using the ECOBOT application. The application of ECOBOT in schools and courses can help society understand the importance of recycling electronic waste in the world.
