Feeding habits of Pacific anchovy, Engraulis japonicus (Actinopterygii: Clupeiformes: Engraulidae), captured off the southern coasts of Korea

Abstract: Understanding the feeding ecology of anchovies in the southern waters of Korea is crucial for improving ecosystem management. However, to date, few studies have examined seasonal changes in the diet of Pacific anchovy, Engraulis japonicus Temminck et Schlegel, 1846, in Korean waters, with the majority of these focusing on the larval and adult stages.
