The purpose of this study is to find the most effective and cost-efficient ways to improve the security and stability of electronic election and vote counting systems, as well as to identify the main targets of intruders and vulnerabilities of the system to prevent possible attacks. This paper describes the main types and of hacker attacks and their mechanism, assesses the consequences of damage to the structures of electronic elections in the United States, France, Germany, Northern Macedonia, and Indonesia. The vulnerabilities of electronic election systems were investigated and the technology for their detection during development and testing was provided. Recommendations were given on the implementation of preventive work to reduce the risks of hacker attacks. The study explained the motives of the crimes committed in the cyberspace of electronic election systems.

This article aims to explore the legal nuances and criminological implications of inheriting digital currency, highlighting the inadequacies and potential risks involved in the current legal framework. Employing induction and deduction, the study distinguishes between traditional, electronic, and digital currencies, analyzing their classifications and legal considerations. The findings indicate a lack of comprehensive legal recognition and regulation concerning the inheritance of digital currencies in Kazakhstan and globally, identifying only two legally non-contradictory methods of inheritance: by law or will, with a closed will deemed safer yet simpler. This research underscores the necessity for legislative refinement to mitigate risks and ambiguities in digital currency inheritance, offering criminological insights into the prevention of fraud and misuse in the digital inheritance process. Its practical significance lies in providing a critical analysis beneficial for Kazakhstani citizens in navigating digital currency inheritance and urging legislative bodies towards enhancing the legal framework governing digital assets.

Research on enhancing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security in hybrid environments is critically relevant and important to protect data and ensure customer and organizational trust through the development of strong security policies. The study aims to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions that will help ensure that corporate data and resources are protected when employees use personal mobile devices in an environment where both on-premises and cloud-based resources are present. The methods used include analytical, deduction, modeling, statistical, and synthesis methods. This research identified specific vulnerabilities of potential threats to BYOD mobile devices in a hybrid environment and developed security strategies that include recommendations for creating a security policy and using a mobile device management system. The research led to the development of specific technical solutions, such as recommendations for mobile device configuration. This included educating employees and managers about security rules and the importance of adhering to security policies, and updated lists of current BYOD security threats and challenges given the changing threat environment. The practical value of the work lies in providing practical relevance to organizations by providing robust protection of sensitive data and resources, increasing employee comfort and confidence in the security of personal devices, easing IT departments’ tasks of device management and threat detection, and increasing customer and partner confidence in a security-layer organization.
