Features of Phacosurgery in Macular Pathology. Part 2. Сapabilities of Optical Correction

Abstract: Cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) are the leading causes of blindness worldwide. The main symptoms of AMD are: a gradual decrease in visual acuity to the hundredth, metamorphosis, the appearance of a central scotoma, which reduces the quality of life of the patients and leads to disability.
