Abstract:Electronic Medical Records (EMR) carry important information about a patient’s journey. The past decade shows substantial use of Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based Information Retrieval (IR) techniques to extract insights such as symptoms, diseases, and tests from these unstructured records.
