Abstract: Ongoing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission and COVID-19 disease severity is influenced by immunity acquired by natural exposure and/or vaccination, whereby most vaccines are formulated on the Ancestral strain.
