Abstract: Objective: To assess prevalence of hernia recurrence, surgical site infection (SSI), seroma, serious complications, and mortality after retro-rectus repair. Summary Background Data: Ventral abdominal wall hernia is a common problem, tied to increasing frailty and obesity of patients undergoing surgery.
