Faunistics of Syrphid flies (Diptera: Syrphidae) from Chakesar Valley, District Shangla, Pakistan and their biogeographic association

Abstract: Pakistan is represented by the Afrotropical, Palearctic, and Oriental biogeographical zones, each of which has its own flora, fauna, climate, and ecology. The Syrphid fauna's current biogeographic distribution is the result of an effort to classify 16 taxa from the district of Shangla in the Chakesar Valley in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
