This exumbrellar cnidocyst track is also characteristic of zancleids (see Russell, 1953;Boero et al, 2000;Bouillon et al, 2004) and a few pandeids. Zancleids also share more characters with the new species, namely the interradial gonads and the lateral position of cnidocysts in the tentacle, which nonetheless are not developed in Jeanbouillonia as cnidophores are in zancleids.…”
