Fault‐tolerant control strategy of open‐winding brushless doubly fed wind power generator based on direct power control

Abstract: This study presents a study of fault-tolerant operation for a brushless doubly fed reluctance generator (BDFRG) system under a converter switch fault. The topology of the dual converter fed open-winding BDFRG is adopted to improve post-fault operation capacity.
