Abstract: Objective: To analyze the factors associated with low adherence to the Papanicolaou exam in a group of adolescent mothers. Methods: An observational, transversal study conducted in two public hospitals in Joinville, Santa Catarina. The sample consisted of 416 adolescent mothers.
