Abstract:Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) is a type of necrotizing vasculitis associated with high levels of myeloperoxidase-specific antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (MPO-ANCA). While generally associated with renal dysfunction, MPA can also cause intraabdominal hemorrhage in rare cases.
