“…In the case of energy transfer, the fluorescence lifetimes of the sensitizers are shortened because of the additional decay channels, which shortens the lifetimes of the excited state. 35 Moreover, the ET Ce 3+ -Mn 2+ efficiency (Z) can be obtained by using the equation: 36,37 Z = 1 Àt s /t s0 (3) where t s and t s0 are the lifetimes of Ce 3+ in the absence and presence of Mn 2+ , respectively. The ET Ce 3+ -Mn 2+ efficiency gradually increases with increasing Mn 2+ concentration, reaching B36% when y = 0.25.…”

“…Therefore, a white light-emitting diode (LED) is obtained by exciting single matrix uorescent powder with ultraviolet (UV) or near-UV light, and UV light will not affect white light. [1][2][3][4][5] Dy 3+ ions have blue emission peaks (480 nm, 4 F 9/2 / 6 H 15/2 ) and yellow emission peaks (575 nm, 4 F 9/2 / 6 H 13/2 ). White light can be realized by coordinating the ratio of blue light and yellow light.…”

“…The photoluminescence intensity of both the emission bands depends on the surrounding environment of the phosphors host lattice around the activated Dy 3+ ions 24,27 . Therefore by choosing the proper host materials to generate high‐ quality white light, the luminescence intensities of both the emission bands of the doped Dy 3+ ions will adjust the blue to yellow emission ratio (blue/yellow = 1) 24,25 .…”
