Fast Mumford-Shah Two-Phase Image Segmentation Using Proximal Splitting Scheme

Abstract: The Mumford-Shah model is extensively used in image segmentation. Its energy functional causes the content of the segments to remain homogeneous and the segment boundaries to become short.
