The study aims to explore a new form of immersive animation scene design and improve the application effect of virtual reality (VR) in immersive animation scene design. First, the research status of VR and the related concepts of animation scene design are analyzed, and the basic characteristics of visual effects in immersive VR animation scenes are summarized. Second, three elements to create immersion in a VR animation scene are color, light and shadow, and digital information technology. Finally, the application of VR technology to an animation scene design is analyzed, the problem of vertigo caused by VR animation scenes is deeply discussed, the vertigo test process in an immersive VR scene is proposed, and an experiment is designed to verify it. The results show that in the design of an immersive VR scene, the relative moving speed of the forward straight line should be maintained less than 6.5 times of the audience’s perceived speed, and the optimal relative moving speed of the scene should be maintained below 5 times of the audience’s perceived speed when they moving backward. In the design of a rotating animation scene, the long-term high-speed rotation should be avoided. If there must be a rotating scene, the rotation speed should be as low as 50°/s. The research provides some guidance for the application of VR to immersive animation scene design. This study discusses immersive animation scene design from dizziness prospective. It is novel. This study introduces relative motion perception illusion and use displacement velocity and relative displacement to analyze VR vertigo. Len motion is divided into forward and reverse linear, horizontal and vertical rotation and camera center rotation to study vertigo source. The dizziness evaluation model is designed and combined with the virtual indoor scene developed to achieve a visual immersion experience.

Aiming at the problem of virtual reality and data processing algorithm of online video packaging, one transmission scheme uses TILES in HEVC to block the video and then applies MP4Box to pack the video and generate a DASH video stream. A method is proposed to process the same panoramic video with different quality. By designing a new index to measure the complexity of the coding tree unit, this method predicts the depth of the coding tree unit by using the complexity index and spatial correlation of the video, skipping unnecessary traversal range, and realizing fast division of coding units. Experimental results show that compared with the latest HM16.20 reference model, the proposed algorithm can reduce the coding time by 37.25%, the BD-rate only increases by 0.74%, and the video image quality is almost not lost.

Filmmakers can effectively control scene complexity and enhance rendering speed by utilizing VR-based modelling approaches such as multi-resolution decomposition and level of detail (LOD) rendering. These modelling techniques enable the development of highly complex and realistic virtual worlds, allowing filmmakers to bring their creative visions to life with unparalleled precision. In addition, VR-based rendering technologies, such as viewpoint-based geometric chunking rendering, improve frame rates and overall scene rendering quality, resulting in a seamless and immersive watching experience for audiences. Using VR technology, filmmakers can push the boundaries of traditional filmmaking, create fascinating cinematic experiences, and reimagine narrative in the digital age. This research explores the revolutionary impact of VR technology on movie scene simulation and rendering, emphasizing its potential to change the way films are created, seen, and appreciated by audiences throughout the world. Finally, they compare and assess the scene effect, LOD detail level, and interactive experience effect before and after simplification. scene design for virtual reality technologies generally scores 5-6 on each of the measures, whereas common technology's scenario design usually gets 3 to 4, showing whether the scenario design of virtual reality technology works properly.
