Fast growth of optical nonlinear crystals of 4‐aminobenzophenone from the melt. A candidate for blue light output

Abstract: The Kyropoulos method was used to grow non-linear optical (NLO) organic crystals of 4-aminobenzophenone (ABP) from the melt. Growth conditions were discussed. The entropy of fusion of ABP material is 6.75. The crystals had a large effect of frequency doubling.
