Fast and Low-Complexity Frame-Level Synchronization for Differential Transmitted Reference Receivers

Abstract: A frame-level synchronization (FLS) algorithm for the UWB differential transmitted-reference (DTR) receiver is designed and analyzed in this paper. In DTR systems, the detector computes the decision statistic by correlating pulses from adjacent frames and summing the contributions from the entire frame of a symbol.
