FASCE, the benefit of spironolactone for treating acne in adult females: study protocol for a randomized double-blind trial

Abstract: Background: Acne vulgaris of adult females has increased over the past 10 years; it affects currently 20 to 30% of adult females. The physiopathology of adult female acne is distinguished from that of teenagers essentially by two factors: hormonal and inflammatory.
