Farbe und Konstitution von Komplexverbindungen der Übergangselemente

Abstract: Nach einem Überblick über ältere Deutungsversuche werden Ergebnisse quantentheoretischer Betrachtungen am Beispiel der Cr3+‐Komplexe dargestellt. Bekannte Spektren zwei‐ und dreiwertiger lonen werden vom Standpunkt der Theorie aus gedeutet. Die Komplexbildungstendenz läßt sich durch Erweiterungen der elementaren elektrostatischen Theorie verstehen.
