“…The soils studied are loamy sand or sandy loam with sand percentage ranging from 53% to 83% except soil from Boro Dighir Par that has relatively low sand content (33%). High sand content of the soils in this region may be explained by their origin from sandstone parent materials [23]. Most sites were homogeneous in terms of their pH and organic matter content.…”
