“…Para implementar esta evolución, hemos puesto en marcha diferentes iniciativas, entre las cuales, destaca la relacionada con la localización de los apoyos de especialistas (logopeda, fisioterapeuta…) y el rol de las familias dentro del centro de educación especial; para ello se está llevando a cabo una intervención en entornos naturales, mientras que, a su vez, en el colegio de educación especial se implementa la terapia integrada en el aula, ambas formas de intervenir propuestas por el modelo basado en rutinas (McWilliam 2010). Este tipo de prácticas, conocidas como centradas en la familia, se definen como servicios de calidad y prácticas recomendadas (Dunst, Bruder y Espe-Sherwindt 2014), ya que atienden a las preocupaciones y prioridades familiares y educativas en los diferentes contextos en los que está involucrada toda la familia como sistema, especialmente el niño con necesidades educativas especiales, los cuales forman parte de una escuela, una comunidad, sociedad y cultura (Bronfenbrenner y Morris 1988). Con este tipo de prác-ticas desde el centro de educación especial pretendemos llevar al máximo exponente el impacto de nuestra intervención sobre el desarrollo de habilidades, competencias y aprendizajes del alumnado, mediante el modelado y acompañamiento del cuidador o cuidadores principales (el maestro en el aula y la familia en casa) como agentes principales para dotar de experiencias y, por tanto, de aprendizajes al alumnado (Jung 2003).…”
