“…In the same manner of compressive strength, mix #2 is proved as the optimum mix for the split tensile strength and flexural strength through the experiments which we have shown in previous chapters. 4. Water permeability is one of the important characteristics of pervious concrete, in this work mix #1 had shown the maximum permeability but the same mix have least strength amongst three mixes.…”

“…Apart from OPC, fly ash lime-Gypsum binder (FaL-G), a cement-free green binder made of recycled industrial waste were used to produce PC pavements. Due to the enhanced hydration, matrix formation and densification a high durable PC mix can be obtained using a FaL-G binder [9]. when comparing to OPC, the FaL-G binder gains its full strength after fifty days due to a slow reaction between fly ash, lime and gypsum and also it has increased setting time and relatively low strength.…”

“…e construction activity can be enhanced by focusing attention towards sustainability in addition to performance and functional ability. e main objective of the sustainable growth is to ensure the benefits for future generation without affecting the needs of the present generation [1,2]. Binder is an essential material that combines some materials together to develop a cohesive mechanically or chemically by adhesion or cohesion.…”
