Background: Caesarean section surgery is a delivery procedure performed for mothers who want to give birth with complications. The recovery process from caesarean section surgery will vary from one person to another. Several factors can affect the recovery duration of caesarean section surgery, including education level, age, history of caesarean section surgery, motivation given by health workers, early mobilization provided by health workers, and others. Objective: This study aimed to analyse the relationship between education level, age, history of caesarean section surgery, and recovery duration of post-operative caesarean section surgery. Methods: The research design used is descriptive-analytic research with a cross-sectional approach. This research was carried out from May 5, 2021, until June 15, 2021, in the Recovery Room of the General Hospital of Jasem, Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling, so the number of respondents obtained in this study is 50. The research instrument used was medical records to determine the level of education, age and history of caesarean section surgery. In addition, the researchers also used the Bromage Scale to evaluate the duration of recovery from post-operative caesarean section surgery. The statistical test used was the Spearmen Rho test with a significance level of < .05 using SPSS 21. Results: This study showed a relationship between age and history of caesarean section surgery (p-value < .05, r = .310). The results of this study also showed that there was a relationship between age and history of caesarean section surgery with duration of recovery of post-operative caesarean section surgery (p-value < .05, r = .356; p-value < .001, r = .603, respectively). Conclusion: This study found that health workers are expected to consider age and history of caesarean section surgery in the recovery process of post-operative caesarean section surgery patients.

Caesarean section (C-section) delivery has increased worldwide. The number of deliveries using the C-section procedure at the age of 10–54 years in Indonesia reached up to 17.6% of the total number of deliveries, due to the presence of medical and nonmedical indications. This study aims to analyze about nonmedical indications of C-section. This study uses a systematic review method. The inclusion criteria for the investigated studies were articles published in 2011–2021, written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, observational studies with case control or cohort as the design, and available to be downloaded in full text. In total, 12 articles were included in this systematic review. The nonmedical factors that influence the C-section procedure are antenatal care, the mother's level of education, residency, health insurance, socio-economics, occupation, previous birth histories, the mother's demand, the family's support and decision-making, and doctor's referral. The government, through the help of health practitioners, needs to increase the education to pregnant women and their families regarding the advantages and disadvantages of their preferred delivery methods.

Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Section (ERACS) is a post-cesarean recovery method that can provide faster functional recovery results and can minimize the occurrence of complications, and reduce hospitalization time. ERACS is considered to be able to reduce pain levels and accelerate early mobilization of patients after delivery better than the non-ERACS method. This study aims to compare ERACS and non-ERACS methods on the level of pain and mobilization in post-cesarean section patients. The method used in this study was observational analytic with a cross-sectional design carried out on 66 respondents at Abby Lhokseumawe Mother Children's Hospital. The results showed that there were differences between the ERACS and non-ERACS methods in terms of pain levels with a p-value of 0.010 (<0.005) and early mobilization with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005) in post-cesarean section patients which can be concluded that delivery with the ERACS method is better in reducing the degree of pain and accelerating early mobilization compared to non-ERACS methods
