Abstract-Tolerance is the pillar in society life, but it has ambivalent power manifested in two forms are solid and democratic forms. Therefore, it is a need to explore the practical religious learning. The Manado city is a location where Muslim is minority. This condition reflects that there is encounter between religions and faiths. This paper was conducted in State Senior High School 9 of Manado, North Sulawesi. The study shows that tolerance invites dialogs to communicate the existence of mutual recognition. Being tolerant is letting or permitting others to be themselves, respecting for others regardless of their origins and their backgrounds.

Therefore, it is a need to explore the parctical reliious learning. The Manado city is a location where muslim is minority. This condition reflects that there is encounter between religions and faiths. This paper was conducted in State Senior High School 9 of Manado, North Sulawesi. The study shows that tolerance invites dialogs to communicate the existence of mutual recognition. Being tolerant is letting or permitting others to be themselves, respecting for others regardless of their origins and their backgrounds. Learning material was developed by the teacher accordingly to the subject in which the teacher should give a concept to the students about tolerance is required in a community consisting of various religions. Finally, this paper concludes the description of tolerance in solid form on minority muslim.

Dedico este livro a meu pai JoãoCruz de Sousa in memoriam. APRESENTAÇÃOA presente obra é resultado de duas pesquisas realizadas nos municípios de Cajazeiras e Campina Grande, ambos localizados no Estado da Paraíba, sobre o ensino religioso na perspectiva dos pais e dos alunos.Dentre as constatações dessas pesquisas, destacaremos aqui a grande importância que o ensino religioso tem para a educação dos seus filhos. Essa importância é fundamentada na possibilidade de eles aprenderem alguns princípios considerados bons, morais e éticos, notadamente cristãos, para as suas vidas presentes e futuras, afastando-os daquilo que consideram prejudicial à vida, a exemplo das drogas nocivas e do crime.No caso dos discentes, a maioria afirma, por um lado, ter nas aulas liberdade de crença e de consciência; mas, por outro, considera que o currículo do ensino religioso atendia apenas as expectativas de um pequeno grupo de alunos, o que indica uma perspectiva de programa curricular elaborada sem a participação de alunos ou mesmo de seus pais.Assim, as frustrações de parte dos alunos participantes da pesquisa estão relacionadas, quase sempre, a ausência das diferentes perspectivas religiosas, bem como seus conteúdos nos programas curriculares.
