Pengsong Wang et al [2] simulated the failure mode of the metro turnout slide plate, and the results showed that the reason for weld seam separation was that the peak stress of the slide plate was located at the root of the weld seam, and the fatigue life was the lowest. Li et al [3] made on-site tests and theoretical analysis of the slide plate of point rail, and believed that high train speed would produce step phenomenon, which would make the slide plate bear excessive impact force; Jianyue Zhu et al [4] believe that the vertical interaction between the wheel and the rail in the transition section from the base rail to the switch rail can be greatly reduced after the elastic slide plate is used under the switch rail of the speed-up turnout.…”
